The College wishes to appoint a Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team on a permanent basis, working at our main site in central Oxford. These are full time (37.5 hours) permanent roles available for an immediate start.
The salary will be ÂŁ28,759 to ÂŁ31,396 pa depending upon experience. Potential to work overtime available.
This is an exciting time to join Hertford as there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in different catering initiatives, such as zero waste, sourcing sustainable local produce, creative menus, and much more.
You will assist the shift supervisor to ensure that the preparation and serving of food to a high standard, from servery-style to fine dining for students, Fellows, staff and guests.
You will be able to demonstrate experience within the catering industry. You will be capable of working both as part of a team as well as without direct supervision. A good working knowledge and relevant professional qualifications and/or accreditations in catering, hygiene, and related areas are essential (although refresher training will be provided).
