Looking back on 2020 at Hertford
This week we’ll be looking back at our highlights from the past 12 months and remembering an exceptional year at Hertford College.
2020 has been a busy a relentless year, even though the college was practically empty for probably the longest time since it was established. We couldn’t have made it through without the phenomenal resilience, hard work and good humour of all our students, staff and academics. Whether taking tutorials online, or making sure isolating households had food supplies; whether ensuring our spaces were clean and Covid-compliant, or keeping the Lodge operating throughout the spring lockdown; whether sacrificing a regular freshers’ week with good grace, or supporting the college’s work through donations; the Hertford community has come together like never before.
