Supply chains for social enterprises
2 February 2016
45 people from academia, social enterprises, national and local government, and private sector firms joined together on January 28th at Hertford to explore the way in which social enterprises (and firms committed to social value) could effectively participate in private and public sector supply chains.
The meeting was convened by Dr Steve New, Hertford’s Tutor in Management, and the speakers included Nick Temple, Deputy Chief Executive of Social Enterprise UK, and Pamela Hartigan, Director of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. The event was supported by the University of Oxford’s ESRC Impact Acceleration Account and Oxford City Council.
