Visiting student success
24 July 2015
Congratulations to Bailey Sincox, who studied at Hertford during 2014 as a Registered Visiting Student from Duke University.
Back at Duke this year, and using the research she was able to do at Oxford via tutorials with Dr Sophie Duncan and Hertford Tutor David Tolley, Bailey received ‘Highest Distinction’ in the English major, and was awarded ‘Most Original Thesis’ in the English Department, winning Duke’s prestigious ‘Bascom Headen Palmer Prize for Literature’. She graduated from Duke University in May 2015 and has been offered a conditional place at Oxford for an MSt in English 1550-1700 for 2015. All at Hertford send congratulations and look forward to seeing her in the autumn!
