This year’s John Donne speaker is Mark Thompson, CEO of the New York Times Company. He will be speaking about Trump, Brexit and the Broken Language of Politics.
The John Donne lecture is an annual lecture held by Hertford College. Previous keynote speakers include Tony Hall on living with creativity, Lord (Gus) O’Donnell, President Mary Robinson on climate justice, Professor Paul Muldoon and Dr Toby Barnard.
This lecture is free and open to all.
Seats will not be allocated in the Sheldonian Theatre. Doors open from 4.30 pm.
