International Programmes Department
Directors’ welcome
Over the past 20 years, we have welcomed hundreds of students from our partner universities in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, and a number of other countries.
Hertford College International Programmes department prides itself on being the only college within the University of Oxford to run Summer & Easter Programmes written by our Teaching Team in collaboration with our partner universities. We visit China, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States every year and welcome the opportunity to start new partnerships with universities to give your students the opportunity to study in an Oxford University college, and experience the life of an Oxford student. We look forward to welcoming students and faculty members here at Hertford College in Easter 2026.
In Summer 2026 we are running 3-week Open Enrolment programmes where students can apply individually. We are very excited to provide students with the opportunity to live and work alongside students from different countries and universities.

Our philosophy
We pride ourselves on being one of the friendliest colleges in Oxford. We are outward looking and value the many strong international links we have made over the years. For more than two decades we have worked closely with our partner universities to launch innovative new programmes focussing on cultural studies, business and economics, and many other academic subjects.
