Admission to Hertford is solely based on academic merit and potential. We believe that no UK undergraduate should be deterred from applying to Hertford for financial reasons – this is why we offer financial support to those who demonstrate their need.

At Hertford we have a very generous bursary scheme for undergraduate students. We also provide grants to student experiencing unexpected financial hardship and offer financial support for graduate study too.

To help with living costs, we can provide college-owned accommodation for all years of undergraduate study at competitive prices and our freshly-cooked meals are good value for money too – just scan your student card, track your spending online, and receive an invoice at the end of term.
