Fellows and finalists

After an unprecedented year, we were delighted to send off our finalists with an equally unprecedented set of results which reflected their hard work, determination and resilience. Despite significant disruption caused by the pandemic, half of our finalists achieved a first-class degree and many picked up University prizes for outstanding academic performance – you all did us phenomenally proud.

In August, we also welcomed five new tutorial fellows who have already enriched our teaching and research. Dr Carissa Véliz and Dr Lambros Malafouris represented a second fellow in Philosophy and Archaeology & Anthropology respectively for the first time, while we welcomed Prof. Dawid Kielak in Maths, Dr Federica Romei in Economics, and Dr Vlayslav Vyazovskiy in Medicine.
