Hertford College Undergraduate Bursary
We’re proud to support all of our eligible undergraduates with a non-repayable bursary, on top of the support they receive from the government and the University.
Our bursary is means-tested and available to all UK undergraduates studying for a first degree. The current threshold for eligibility is a household income of less than ÂŁ53,000. The bursary is currently ÂŁ1,000 per annum.
The Hertford College Undergraduate Bursary is in addition to government loans and grants, as well as the Oxford Bursary and Crankstart Scholarship. Like these University-wide bursaries, there is no application process for the Hertford bursary provided that you have been financially assessed by your regional funding agency (e.g. Student Finance England) and have consented to share information on your household income with the University on your assessment application. Awards will be confirmed once you are enrolled at the college and will be credited to your college account in two equal instalments in January and April. The bursary is not available for PGCE or graduate-entry Medicine students.
