Hertford English Careers Dinner: Looking Forward and Back

Emeritus Fellow Professor Charlotte Brewer and Tutorial Fellows Professors Emma Smith and David Dwan would like to invite English alumni who graduated within the last 15 years to talk about life after their Hertford English degree.

The event will give current students the opportunity to mingle with recent graduates, and for those further on in their careers to offer advice and solidarity to those considering their next steps. The aim is to celebrate divergent post-Hertford paths including professions beyond the immediate reach of the degree.

Come along and meet fellow English students in your own and other cohorts, see how the subject is evolving, and hear about the progress being made on our new library.

The event will run as follows:

17.30 – Conversations with English alumni

18:30 – Drinks reception

19.15 – Dinner in Hall

Invitations will be sent in due course to English alumni who graduated within the last 15 years.
