Research interests
Dawid is a group theorist, which means that he spends his days studying symmetries of various objects (including symmetries of symmetries). He particularly enjoys encoding information about symmetries into polynomials and polytopes.
His current work is funded by the ERC Starting Grant 2019 ‘Fibring’ and focuses on understanding high-dimensional spaces by viewing them as spaces of one dimension less evolving in time. The connection with symmetries and polytopes might not be apparent, but it’s there!
