Creating new facilities

Hertford is lucky to have a beautiful campus in the centre of Oxford. However, we need to keep investing in our buildings, in support of our staff and students. Our ambitious building plans represent the largest capital programme since Hertford was built. With your help we can create new world-class facilities.

New library

A major redevelopment that will increase study space by 50%, restore heritage buildings, increase accessibility, and harness sustainability. It will serve as the communal heart of the college, bringing together our staff and students.

Music auditorium

The Hertford College Music Society is one of the largest and most active music societies in Oxford. The new auditorium will provide much-needed performance space to match the quality and quantity of our music-making.
