Dr Elisabeth Mira Rothweiler
College Lecturer in Medicine
Mira is investigating peptides as molecular Trojan horses to shuttle drugs across the blood brain barrier in her role as Postdoctoral Researcher in the Oxford Drug Discovery Institute Assay Development Team led by Dr Emma Murphy. She was awarded a Junior Research Fellow at Kellogg College in October 2024. She is a licensed Pharmacist and pursued a DPhil in Clinical Medicine in the field of Chemical Biology and Proteomics at the University of Oxford under co-supervision by Dr Kilian Huber and Prof Paul Brennan.

Mira tutors first and second-year medical students at Hertford in Physiology & Pharmacology.
