Aly Shaaban

Aly Shaaban is a doctor in Thames Valley Deanery, working between the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford and Stoke Mandeville hospitals. 

Aly studied Natural Sciences and Clinical Medicine at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. His undergraduate research focused on multi drug efflux pumps with Professor Rik Van Veen at Department of Pharmacology at Cambridge. His current research focuses on global health, looking into low cost solutions for hearing problems in children. 

At Hertford, Aly has been tutoring Pathology for second year medical student since 2025. He also teaches clinical reasoning for Clinical students.
