Prize-winning medics
29 October 2019
Our Medicine students and academics have been busy picking up University prizes in recognition of their hard work and success.
Sixth-year Medicine student Chloe Jacklin was awarded the Matilda Tambyraja Prize in Women’s & Reproductive Health 2018-9 by the University’s Medical School. This award recognises her work as the student who produced the best written assessment paper for their academic year
Meanwhile, Tutorial Fellow in Medicine, Prof. David Greaves, was recognised in the Medical Sciences Division’s Teaching Excellence Awards. The ceremony was hosted by the Head of Division and formally acknowledged significant educational achievements, rewarding individuals who have exceeded expectations in carrying out their duties. Prof. Greaves won a prize for his project work on developing new eLearning resources for medical students across the University.
We’re delighted to see both our tutors and students excelling in their fields.
