Outstanding tutors in Computer Science
7 May 2019
We’re delighted to see that two Hertfordians have been recognised in the shortlist of Oxford SU’s Student-Led Teaching Awards.
Every year Oxford SU acknowledges the University’s lecturers and staff members who stand out from the rest, inspiring, challenging and engaging their students. The recipients are nominated by their students, with the winners being announced at the awards evening, which will be hosted at the Ashmolean Museum on Thursday 9 May.
Dr Paul Harrenstein (College Lecturer in Computer Science) and Francisco Marmolejo (DPhil student in Computer Science) have both been nominated and shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Tutor’ category. We’re delighted that our students are able to benefit from their expertise in teaching and research. Head of the Department of Computer Science and Hertford Senior Research Fellow, Prof. Mike Wooldridge, shared his praise for Paul and Francisco’s hard work and the commitment shown to their students.
