Hertford student wins French Studies prize

We are delighted to announce that Amy Cowan, who graduated in History and French in 2012 and is now studying for an MSt at the college, has been awarded the prestigious 2012 R.H. Gapper Undergraduate Essay Prize.

Amy’s essay, ‘A la recherche du temps perdu has been described as an epistemological quest. Explain and exemplify what this might mean’, was judged outstanding by the judges, and will be published in French Studies Bulletin.
