Hertford Responds: a new webinar series
28 May 2020
In order to somewhat quench our academic thirst during the lockdown and beyond, we have launched Hertford Responds.
The series of webinars conducted by our fellows will delve into some of today’s most important topics, whether that be the COVID-19 rapid tests being developed in Oxford, or how artificial intelligence could change our world, to global supply chains and flooding changes.
Our fellows are leaders in their fields, and these webinars are a fantastic opportunity to learn more about their research and ask any difficult questions that you may have!
We are delighted to have confirmed the following fellows for Hertford Responds, and we hope to add more in the coming weeks.
Thursday 28th May – Professor Zhanfeng Cui – COVID-19 rapid testing technology
Thursday 11th June – Dr Steve New – Global supply chains and globalisation
Thursday 25th June – Professor Mike Wooldridge – The software that led to the lockdown
Thursday 9th July – Dr Anette Mikes – Risk management during a global pandemic
Thursday 23rd July – Will Hutton – Think and act big! How to navigate through the pandemic
Recordings will also be available to watch following each webinar if you can’t make it on the day.
