Prof. Elizabeth Baldwin recognised with Teaching Excellence Award

We are delighted to announce that Prof Elizabeth Baldwin has been awarded a 2025 Social Sciences Division Teaching Excellence Award (Individual Award for Academic Staff), in recognition of her exceptional contributions to teaching in environmental economics and climate change.

The Divisional Quality Assurance Committee commended the thoughtful design and delivery of Elizabeth’s teaching, highlighting her sustained commitment to student learning, the care she brings to supervision, and her use of diverse teaching methods to foster a rigorous yet supportive academic environment.

This award is a well-earned acknowledgment of Elizabeth’s dedication to teaching, both within our department and across the wider division. She will be honoured at the Divisional Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 17 June 2025 at the Manor Road Building.
