University Open Day
14 September 2018
Everyone here at Hertford is looking forward to the next Oxford University Open Day on Friday 14 September, when we’ll be warmly welcoming prospective students, parents, carers and teachers to the college. The Open Day is a great opportunity to find out more about studying at Oxford and what makes Hertford special.
The college will be open to visitors from 10.00am to 5.00pm and there is no need to book for any activity, all of which are free of charge. Just come into the main quad on Catte Street and you will be welcomed by one of our admissions team.
You’ll have the chance to meet current students, tutors and staff at Hertford and find out what makes studying here so rewarding. There’ll be opportunities to discover more about academic and student life – from subject-specific talks to college tours with our undergraduate student ambassadors – and a chance to sample the wonderful work of our catering team. You’ll also be able to meet our domestic and library teams and find out about how we support our students financially and academically.
Want to find out more and plan your day? You can discover what we have planned by looking at Hertford’s Open Day Programme, and about events across Oxford on the University’s website. The September Open Day is our last one before the UCAS deadline for 2019 entry on Monday 15 October. If you can’t make it on the day, check out our Instagram story from the June Open Days to get a flavour of what Hertford has to offer. We’re also happy to welcome prospective applicants throughout the year – get in touch with our Outreach or Admissions teams to arrange a visit if you can’t make 14 September.
