“I didn’t think too much about my career while I was studying Engineering at Hertford- I had enough to be getting on with! I was very fortunate to notice an email for an event hosted by a boutique operational consultancy Newton Europe, which I attended and which lead to me interning there between by third and fourth years, and then working with them for another year after leaving. I worked on improving how hospitals are run and really enjoyed it, but wanted to to work in Tech. I left Newton and joined a then start up Onfido, where I worked for four years leading Operations and later owning big areas of Product too. In 2019 I made the jump to launch my own start up, Isla. We are back in the healthcare sector building the visual component of the health record. If anyone is interested in working in health or tech, I’d happily have a chat!”
