Emma Allen

Country Leader at What If Innovation

Name: Emma Allen

Matriculation Year: 2006

Subject: Geography

Occupation: Country Leader at What If Innovation

LinkedIn: Emma Allen

“I run the European business of What If Innovation; a 28-year old, global, leading innovation consultancy recently acquired by Accenture. My journey into the world of innovation has been one of twists and turns, from the creative world to the analytical and back round again.  I studied geography at Oxford, then advertising, then I did the graduate scheme at L’Oreal where I scaled Kiehl’s across Britain, then Mckinsey management consultancy before finding my home at What If Innovation across our London and NYC offices.

At What If, I find that being able to fire up both cranial hemispheres and having a ‘linky’ not a linear brain is the making of an audacious and adventurous thinker. I love leading a company where the divergent experience procured from being a career misfit is seen as a beautiful not a bad thing! I also love leading a company whose values are Love, Passion, Audacity, Adventure & Impact – values which I believe in wholeheartedly.

At What If I have imagined and launched successful new toys, toothbrush services, banks, snacks and beauty retailers. Now as MD of the London What If Office I oversee all the people and business operations for Europe. I feel privileged to be a young female leader in this progressive industry leading 120+ inventors and with eyes of a 500,000+ strong organisation looking to me for innovation leadership.”

If you would like to get in touch with Emma, message her directly on LinkedIn or contact the Development Office who can forward on your email.
