“Having written for Cherwell all the way through my years at Hertford (as a History undergrad), I was pretty sure I wanted to be a journalist of some variety. After a bunch of internships and an MA in Magazine Journalism from City University, my first job was on the Showbiz & Entertainment desk at Press Association; my second job was at RadioTimes.com, where I’m now Drama Editor. It’s a fun and challenging job which involves interviewing, reviewing, feature-writing, podcasting and news-gathering, as well as a lot (a LOT!) of TV-watching. I’d be happy to chat with any students considering a career in journalism, and would particularly love to hear from those who don’t already have a ton of contacts and connections.”
