“I (Japanese Studies, Hertford 2010, First Class BA Hons) am a member of the Seinendan Theatre Company in Tokyo, represented by Japan’s entertainment power house Yoshimoto Kogyo, and currently working remotely as the teaching assistant for UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting. I became the first actor to star opposite an android robot on stage (2010) and in film (2015). My directorial debut film, “Tokyo Dreamers, a little violence” premiered at New Filmmakers New York (June 2019) and Los Angeles (January 2020). I serve as Vice Chair of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-Aftra) Sub-Committee for Table Reads in association with the Writers Guild of America. Currently I am working on a feature screenplay set in Japan and Oxford.”
