Charlotte Hogg studied History & Economics at Hertford and was a Kennedy Scholar at Harvard University.
She began her career at the Bank of England and has held positions at McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley and Discover Financial Services in the United States, and Experian and Santander in the UK. In June 2013, she was appointed as the Bank of England’s first Chief Operating Officer, making her the most senior female employee in the bank’s history. Hogg was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Visa’s European operations in October 2017.
