19 June 2026:
Last week much of the work on site has been focussed under the former chapel and in the West Range. The new ground floor slab (basement roof) is supported with back propping while the new walls under the former chapel are being built.

Under the chapel and in the extension area, construction, and concrete pouring of the various internal vertical elements including liner walls, piers, and columns has continued.

In the West Range, making good work continues. Fixing down the first-floor floorboards is complete, and the carpenters are working on the second floor, so that it can be sanded before being stained.

The electricians continued 2nd fixing of the lights and sockets with tracks installed on the second floor. They have taken away temporary electrical installations as they progress. The original windows are being repaired and painted. The 2nd fix sanitaryware installation will commence next week on completion of tile snagging. Â All areas are being decorated to a standard prior to final coats being applied closer to project completion.
