Admissions interviews all wrapped up for another year

We’d like to offer a huge “thank you” to all the candidates who’ve given up their time to attend interviews with us over the last fortnight.

The college has been a hive of activity over the last two weeks, with our Porters’ Lodge refurbishment coming along nicely, painters and decorators giving our staircases a face lift, and almost 600 prospective students turning up for interviews with our tutors. Our rough and ready estimates put the number of interviews conducted this year at over 800 – it would have been impossible for these to run smoothly without the expertise of our Admissions Office, the hard work of our Housekeeping, Catering and Lodge teams, and the extraordinary efforts of our 30-strong team of Student Ambassadors (half of them pictured below). The Ambassadors and Coordinators have been putting in the hours to keep our Admissions Hub staffed for 15 hours a day, delivering candidates on time to additional interviews across the city, and entertaining our overnight guests.

Thank you to everyone involved! If you’ve been to stay with us as candidate then we hope you enjoyed the experience, even if you felt nervous at the time. Remember to take some time out and relax over your Christmas holidays – we’ll only be getting in touch with decisions in mid-January.
