“I only discovered my ‘chosen’ career in 2017, so 16 years after graduating… While I was at Hertford and for many year after, I had no idea what I really wanted to do. I studied Japanese so I should probably use that. Not so easy. So after some token jobs here and there, I fell into the world of market research, working at two different agencies. I work as a freelancer now and still enjoy it (most of the time). More recently, I’ve made a conscious decision to train and work as a performance and wellbeing coach and have set up my own practice and an agency too – definitely not a career path I would have predicted for myself and it’s difficult juggling multiple work streams but I’ve finally found a career that really works for me that I can get excited about!
