Our Women in STEM Subjects Access Day is happening next week With talks on everything from engineering solar power for villages in rural Kenya to Game Theory (for computing), the Y11 students from state schools should have plenty to keep them engaged with the pleasures of Maths, Computing, Engineering and the Sciences. They’ll be learning from female academics conducting world-leading research, and meeting women undergraduates who are succeeeding in STEM subjects at the highest level – and (with thanks to OUP) we’ll even be giving them free science books to take home with them!
