Outreach Hat-trick

Today is the third of a trio of intensive outreach days for Hertford. After visiting Camden on Wednesday, Dr Jamie Castell, our Outreach Fellow, moved on to Anglia Ruskin University yesterday. There, with other tutors from Hertford and a number of tutors from Cambridge, he helped deliver an Academic Taster Day for 140 gifted and talented students from across Essex. Meanwhile, back in Oxford, Rebekah and Alex (current undergraduates) were welcoming 20 students from the Big Wood School (Nottingham) and the Cardinal Newman School (Coventry) to Hertford for an Oxford Pathways Y10 Taster Day. This morning Jamie was back in Oxford, delivering an academic session for a school vist to St Peter’s College, and in a moment we’re taking students taking part in the OUSU Target Schools Shadowing Scheme in to lunch!
