Henry IV in cinemas

If you are heading to the cinema this evening to see the RSC’s live stream of Shakespeare’s Henry IV Part 1, or later in the month to Part 2, look out for Hertford English fellow Emma Smith talking about the play in the pre-performance film.

Emma will also be pitching a less familiar Renaissance play, Robert Daborne’s piratical mash-up A Christian Turn’d Turke, as part a Globe Theatre event to find the last play for the 2014 season: do book and come along to the Globe on 29 May.
