Dawid Kielak wins London Mathematical Society Prize

Tutorial Fellow in Mathematics, Professor Dawid Kielak, has been awarded a Whitehead Prize by the London Mathematical Society in recognition of his work on group theory.
The LMS awards prizes for achievements in and contributions to mathematics. Dawid’s prize recognises his striking, original and fundamental contributions to the fields of geometric group theory and lowdimensional topology, and in particular for his work on automorphism groups of discrete groups and fibrings of manifolds and groups.
