Award supports ambitious outreach

With candidates for interview due to arrrive this weekend, Hertford is looking to the future and the next generation of undergraduates.

We are therefore delighted to announce that, together with Emmanuel College, Cambridge, we have secured funding for ambitious outreach work in Essex. It comes from the Oxbridge Collaborative Outreach Network, part of the National Network for Collaborative Outreach. The two colleges will use the grant to run three access days for state school students in venues across Essex. There will be opportunties for students to meet Oxford and Cambrige tutors, and to experience our unique style of teaching, but the days will also feature leading academics from a range of other universities.
