Warnock Society Tour & Lunch

The Principal and Fellows of Hertford College are delighted to invite members of the Warnock Society and their guests to this year’s Summer Event. The day will commence with a tour of the Oxford Botanic Gardens at 11am, after which we will join alumni from the Hertford College Boat Club for lunch at Warnock House.

Following lunch, guests are welcome to join members of the Boat Club on the river to support Hertford’s successful crews racing in the last day of this year’s Summer Eights.

Programme:

11am – Guided tour of the University Botanic Gardens
12:30pm – Lunch at Warnock House
2:00pm – Summer Eights racing on the river

FAQs

What is the RSVP date?
Please let us know by Monday 20 May if you are able to join us.

Can I see the guest list?
We will circulate a guest list closer to the event, along with details of the final arrangements for the day.

Do I need to bring printed tickets to the event?
No, we will have a guest list on the day.

Can I contribute to the cost of the event?
Many members of the Warnock Society have, in the past, said that they would like to make a donation to cover the cost of events. In response to this feedback we have introuduced the option for you to make a donation when booking should you so wish.

What is the dress code?
Smart casual.

Can I attend the lunch only?
If you are unable to join us for the whole day, but would like to attend only the tour or the lunch, then please contact us and we will be happy to arrange that for you.
