We are delighted to announce the details of our next North America Reunion, in conjunction with the University Alumni Office and North American Office. We will be hosting receptions in Boston, New York, and Washington DC for Hertfordians and their guests,. You can also find details of the University’s programme of events here.
Boston
Wednesday 10 April
Andrew Cole (1989) will be hosting a drinks and buffet reception for Hertfordians at the Somerset Club, 42 Beacon St, Boston. There will be drinks from 7:30pm with a buffet dinner from 8pm.
We will also be joined by Sir Paul Tucker, former Deputy Governor of the Bank of England and now Senior Fellow at Harvard’s Centre for European Studies, and Robert Kuttner, co-founder of American Prospect magazine and author of Can Democracy Survive Global Capitalism?. Hertford’s Principal, Will Hutton, will lead an informal round-table with Paul and Robert, discussing developments in international politics, scientific research, higher education – and anything else guests would like to raise.
Dress code for the Somerset Club is jacket and tie for men and smart for women. Guests welcome.
New York
Thursday 11 April
Helen Mumford Sole (1982) and Peter Sole will be hosting a reception for Hertfordians at their home in New York, on West 13th Street. Drinks and canapes will be served from 6pm to 8:30pm and guests are welcome.
Washington DC
Friday 12 April
Mike Wyatt (1967) is hosting a reception at the offices of Foley Hoag LLP on Friday 12 April for Hertfordians and their guests. Drinks will be served from 6pm to 8pm.
