Impact Masterclass for Women
18 February 2021 - 14:00
Led by Dr Vanessa Collingridge, this upbeat and positive session will provide you with new skills and give you the motivation to step into the limelight to get your voice heard. The workshop is designed for women to emerge with a practical toolkit for making yourself visible and getting your message across.
This highly interactive 3-hour workshop will focus on three key aspects of Impact:
- Appearance
- Physical appearance and body language: how to create a fabulous first impression
- Practical skills include how to really ‘enter’ a room, shaking hands, introducing yourself, working a room, being an active listener
- Voice
- How to find and develop your voice
- Making your voice engaging so others listen, scientific evidence on how your voice sets the tone in relationships
- Content
- What you actually say
- How to bring all aspects together to show impact in action
The workshop will also look at how to have this impact in interviews, assessments, and events online. Theory is kept to a minimum and the event will be highly interactive and dynamic.
