Hertford Society & Hertford MCR: Hilary Drinks in the Octagon

The Hertford Society and the Hertford College Middle Common Room (MCR) have teamed up to bring their members a new twist on an old favourite and a great opportunity to drop by the Octagon for a drink and a chat about life in College then and now.

Building on the past success of the Leavers’ Drinks party, traditionally sponsored by the Hertford Society each Hilary Term as part of its student recruitment drive, the new Hilary Drinks will be open to the wider membership of the Hertford Society and their guests, as a means of strengthening ties between the members of the Hertford Society and the junior members of the College (the JCR and MCR).

Thanks to the continued generosity of the Hertford MCR, the event will still be held in the beautiful Octagon suite in staircase NB7.

Tickets are £5 to members of the Hertford Society but places are limited and will be issued on a first come first served basis. Members of the Society may book one ticket for a guest at the time of booking their own ticket. Members of the MCR & those members of the JCR in their final year should book places via the Hertford MCR website.

Unfortunately, parking is not available on site.

Yes. This is a ticketed event, open to members of the Hertford Society and their guests. Attendees must be aged 18+.
