Hertford College in San Francisco

We are delighted to announce that the Principal will be visiting San Francisco for a special reception and dinner on Saturday 7th September.

Afternoon reception

• 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm at the Presidio Golf Club (300 Finley Road, San Francisco CA 94129)

This reception provides alumni and guests with an opportunity to meet informally and join an open discussion on the economic outlook for the European Commission & Europe, with its subsequent impact on the US.

This will be introduced and led by our Principal, Will Hutton; apt timing, as on 6th September he will be in Germany interviewing Peer Steinbrück, the SPD’s candidate for German Chancellor, as part of ‘the re-launch of Europe’ organised by the European Parliament.

The Principal will also provide an insight into Hertford’s activities and vision for the future.

Dinner

•  6.30 pm – late at Capurro’s Restaurant (498 Jefferson Street, San Francisco, CA 94109)

Following the afternoon reception, Hertford will host a college dinner at Capurro’s Restaurant. We have arranged for a three-course meal with an apéritif, wine, tea and coffee at a cost of $65 (£43) per person.
