Hertford JCR are hosting a special arts week in May.

Highlights include:

8 May

5pm: Jazz on the Quad featuring the Hertford College Jazz Band

7.30pm: Representations of Youth in Literature, a panel event chaired by Dr Emma Smith (Baring Room)

9 May

11am: Scratch Orchestra Workshop – come along with your instrument and get involved with the Hertford College Orchestra as they build up a piece of music from scratch – no experience required! (Baring Room)

3pm: Scratch Orchestra Performance – the orchestra performs the music worked on in the morning workshop

5pm: Piano Recital with Wojciech Swietonski (Chapel), followed by a drinks reception

10 May

2pm: Life Drawing Class (Octagon)

5pm: Evensong with composer Pawel Lukaszewski (Chapel)
