Gaudy for matriculation years 1974 to 1976

We are delighted to announce that we are holding a Gaudy for all who matriculated in 1974, 1975 and 1976 on Friday 19th September in Hertford College.

There is much going on in Hertford, and indeed Oxford, that weekend. At Hertford we will be continuing our celebrations of 40 years of co-education with this Gaudy for the first mixed cohort (and we have a women’s Gaudy planned for 9th January 2015). The college has also planned an exhibition of 21 photographic portraits of Hertford women which will replace, for the academic year 2014-5, the pictures currently in Hall. Hertfordians past and present were invited to nominate sitters and you will be the first to view the portraits, which will then be exhibited for the first time on Saturday 20th September as we host a champagne buffet between 12 midday and 2 pm for all alumni and friends, as well as the sitters of the portraits. This Gaudy also corresponds with the very popular alumni weekends, which will run from 19th to 20th September.

We’re keen to display memories and photos of your time in the first mixed cohort, as well as looking for material for the next edition of Hertford College News, so please send them to us at development [dot] office [at] hertford [dot] ox [dot] ac [dot] uk.
