To all Students facing exams, especially those 1st year undergraduates and graduate students who have not experienced taking exams in Oxford
Examination Preparation Meeting
Thursday of 2nd week (2nd May) from 1.00 to 1.45 p.m. in the Baring Room
Important Information for the Examinations season.
What should you do if you turn up late for an exam?
What if you’re hit by a 24 hour flu?
Is it ever OK to take sleeping pills in the exam period? If so, what kind?
How many hours of revision are ‘normal’?
What are you allowed to take into an exam?
Participants will include:

Registrar: Dr Matthew Hiscock
College Nurse: Yo Davies
Junior Deans: Daniel Guinness, Barney McManigal, Tatiana Cutts JCR and MCR Welfare Reps
We will give advice on maintaining your physical and mental stamina, what to do if unexpected events severely disrupt your exam season and answer questions you may have.
This is NOT just a tea and sympathy session. We will NOT simply be telling you to work hard, keep calm, and get enough sleep. We WILL be giving you concrete tips and advice, all practical.
It’s 45 minutes you will not want to miss if you are determined to be ready for the challenges of examinations.
