Epiphany Carols

To commence Hilary term, there will be a celebration of Epiphany Carols in the chapel on Sunday 13 January at 5.45 pm. Epiphany is the feast and season of the church calendar that links the birth of Christ to his ministry, and, ultimately, his crucifixion.
The congregational carols and choral anthems will be
- carol: ‘As with gladness men of old’
- Britten A New Year carol
- carol: ‘We three kings of Orient are’
- Mendelssohn There shall a star from Jacob come forth
- carol: ‘Brightest and best of the sons of the morning’ (Epiphany)
- Cornelius (arr. Atkins) The three kings
- voluntary: Peeters Prelude No. 3
All are welcome.
Drinks will be served in the Old Library after the service, and Formal Hall will commence at 7.15 pm.
