The Principal and Fellows of Hertford College invite you to our Law Reunion Dinner on Friday 12 October 2018. Join alumni Professor Sir Jeffrey Jowell QC and Michael Fordham QC as they discuss the Rule of Law and its place in the world today.
Jeffrey came to Hertford in 1961 and has since become one of the country’s most respected human rights’ lawyers; his expertise has been called upon numerous times in the UK, Europe, and various Commonwealth jurisdictions. Mike first arrived at Hertford in 1983 to study Jurisprudence, before also taking the BCL; he is now a leading practitioner in the field of judicial review and human rights law. Mike also teaches at Hertford, so he is a familiar face to many students and alumni.
The programme for the evening will be as follows:
5:30pm – Hertfordians & The Rule of Law: in conversation with Professor Sir Jeffrey Jowell QC and Michael Fordham QC
6:45pm – Drinks in the Lower Lodgings
7:30pm – Dinner in Hall
