Oxford University Summer Debate 2013: Are social media a waste of time?

 Join fellow Oxford alumni for an evening of discussion and debate which will focus on the benefits, dangers and limitations of social media, both for business and personal use. Our expert panel will share their views and invite participation from the floor in a Question Time format, after which  guests are invited to continue the discussion over drinks and canapés in the Museum’s gallery. Alumni are also invited to submit questions in advance when booking their place online.

 The Principal Will Hutton will chair the debate. Professor William H. Dutton (Balliol) and Professor Lucy Hooberman (Wadham) will be representing the arguments “For” and Professor Robin Dunbar (Magdalen) and Professor Monica Whitty (University of Leicester) will be exploring the arguments “Against”.

 It would be wonderful to get a strong turn out from Hertford Old Members.
