Women in Hertford College Library’s antiquarian collections

To coincide with the celebration of 40 years of co-education at Oxford, Dana Mills and Alice Roques have organised a small display of books from Hertford’s collections.  From 17^th century female philosophers to herbals and recipe books, the items demonstrate the roles and perceptions of women in the 17^th and 18^th century.

 All Hertford members are welcome to come and view the display 12 noon-2pm in the Old Library.
