Recording of Hertford’s new anthem

On 28 October 2012, the Hertford College Chapel Choir performed the première of a new anthem composed by Samuel Pegg. Like as the hart was commissioned by the Hertford Society in memory of alumnus Brian Galpin.

This live recording was made at Choral Evensong in the college chapel on Sunday 28 October 2012, conducted by Ed Whitehead, with organ played by Nick Graham. The text from Psalm 42 provides the motto of Hertford College, Sicut cervus anhelat ad fontes aquarum.
