Hertford historian at Bank of England

Charlotte Hogg, who studied History and Economics at Hertford, has been named as the Bank of England’s new chief operating officer, making her its most senior woman. Incoming governor Mark Carney described her ‘outstanding track record and breadth of experience that will help to catalyse change’ at the Bank.
