Congratulations to Eamon Jubbawy (Economics and Management, 2010), co-founder of Onfido, which announced its Series A funding of £3 million last week.

Onfido is a London-based technology company that specialises in providing automated background checks to the shared economy. Eamon founded Onfido in 2012 (whilst studying as an undergraduate student at Hertford). Today, Onfido has over 400 clients and has commenced operations in the United States.

Oxford University participated in Onfido’s initial round of seed funding. Onfido’s Series A investors included Wellington Partners, CrunchFund and angel investors including Brent Hoberman, the founder of Lastminute.com.
