Do access initiatives work?

Have you ever wondered whether any of the school students featured in items about our access and outreach work ever make it to Hertford? Well, they do! And not just to Hertford, but also to Cambridge and a host of other Russell Group universities.

Take, for example, the 10 students from Davenant Foundation School who attended our Bridge Centenary Access Event back in 2013. One of them – Alice – will start studying Biology with us next week. Two others are going to Cambridge, two to Durham, and the rest to Bristol, York, Birmingham and Newcastle. Congratulations to them all!
