Hertfordian Mayor of Oxford

Congratulations to Colin Cook, who read Biochemistry at Hertford, and is today installed as Lord Mayor of Oxford.

Speaking to the Oxford Mail, Colin said: “It is a great honour and privilege to have been chosen as Oxford’s next Lord Mayor. If someone had told me when I first arrived as a fresh-faced student 36 years ago, that I would one day be the Lord Mayor of this city, I would not have believed them.”
